I started out a tadpole and now I'm a frog
I started underwater, now I sleep on a log
I turn to smooth to bumpy & it is because:

I'm not a tadpole anymore
I'm a frog

I can leap with incredible ease
I'm at home on the earth or in trees

I started swimming 'round in this tiny pond
then suddenly grew legs like someone waved a magic wand
It seems amazing to change as much as this:

To turn into a frog when I was
more like the fish

So now that I have changed
there's no telling what I'll do
